PTO Fundraising & Purchases
One major function of the PTO is to raise funds for the school. The profits from these efforts support many programs and activities, including:
- Major school purchases, like: computers, software, printers, additional technology items, playground equipment, a paved walking track, PE and music equipment, a cafeteria projector and retractable screen, and sound equipment
- Accelerated Reader Program awards
- College scholarships for former Westfall students
- End-of-the-year awards
- Super Kid’s Day
- Teacher classroom supplies
- Special Olympics
- Teacher Appreciation Week
- Fifth grade graduation
- Conflict Manager’s Program
- Principal’s Reading Challenge
- School beautification projects
- Security features like the window tint at the front of the school
- Reflex Math program for 1st-5th graders
